Question: How should a Muslim relate to the network organisation al-Qâ’idah and its methodology?

Shaykh al-Luhaydân: Which al-Qâ’idah is he asking about?

Questioner: The network organisation al-Qâ’idah that is led by Usâmah bin Lâdin.

al-Luhaydân: There are no doubts about the fact that there is nothing good in this network organisation. It is not led for the sake of goodness and success. It splits the Muslims. Dissident and warring groups belong to the reasons behind tribulations and evil and they are the reason behind splitting and [the bolstering of] courage for carnage.

This network organisation, Is it created in order to fight against the disbelievers and driving them out of the Islâmic countries and turn to countries that fall under non-Islâmic countries in order to spread the religion in them? Or is this al-Qâ’idah calling the masses to rebellion against their rulers so that blood is spilled, rights abused, buildings destroyed and fear is spread? We ask Allâh that he guides everyone.

as-Sa'di: The person who makes fun of others is oftentimes worse than them. To make fun of people only springs from a heart that is full of bad characters. (Taysir-ul-Karim, p. 801)

al-Alusi: Rafidhah are deceived by their scholars and all of them are more ignorant than donkeys and more astray than Satan. (Sabb-ul-'Adhab, p. 305)

al-Fawzan: How can a suicide-bomber be a martyr when the prophet said that the self-killer is in the Fire? (lecture 42)

al-Albani: In these Hadiths and narrations exists an apparent evidence for it being allowed to sing without music on some occasions such as when one is thinking about death, longs for the family or home country, relaxes a little, gets away from the difficulties of the trip and the like. Ibn 'Uthaymin: Mufawwidhah say that they do not know what the verses about the attributes of Allah mean. Ibn-ul-'Arabi: It is obligatory to read al-Fatihah behind the Imam if he is reading silently and prohibited if one hears him read loudly. (Ahkam-ul-Qur'an 1/26)

Al-Maghribi: The first one should do to attract one's partnet is to think about the hygiene and beauty and use a lot of fragrances, happy faces, fine speech and a fine character. (an-Nuzhah, p. 78)

Ibn 'Uthaymin: Marry a religious woman. She will neither abuse your right nor reveal your secret and she will take care of your property and your child in the best way. (Sharh al-Bukhari, Nikah, 2)
