Ibn Baz: I do not know of anything [wrong] in cutting a woman's hair. It is not allowed to shave all of it off. You cannot shave off the hair of your head but you may shorten its length. I do not know of anything wrong with that. (Fatawa al-Mar'ah)

Ibn Muflih: It is not obligatory to read al-Fatihah if the Imam is reading loudly. This is reported from 'Ali, Ibn 'Abbas, Ibn Mas'ud, Jabir and Ibn 'Umar. The Majority has this opinion based upon the Hadith: If one has an Imam, the reading of the Imam is one's own reading. (al-Mubdi' 2/51)

Abûl-Hasan al-Ash’arî (d. 330) said: “Our creed and understanding is to stick to the book of our Lord (‘azza wa jall), the Sunnah of our prophet (sallâ Allâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and that which has been reported by the masterly companions, followers and the Imâms in Hadîth.” (al-Ibânah, p.43)

al-Qurtubî: They sometimes formulate the trinity by saying "The Father, the son and the Holy spirit". Thus, they mean that the Father is the existence, the son is al-Masîh (Messiah) and the Holy spirit is the knowledge. They said: What is humility, Abu Sa'id? He said: That one exits one's home and does not meet a single Muslim but that one believes that he is better than oneself. (az-Zuhd, p. 226)

Hassan bin Abi Sinan: He who mentions Allah among the negligent ones is as the one who fights (I.e. in war) among those who turn their backs. (az-Zuhd, p. 266, afatwa.com)

This significance is in al-Fatihah and other than it. Thus, the one who listens to the reading of the Imam reaches something better than what is reached by reading - and thus one is not allowed to be commanded with something lower and be forbidden from something higher.
