Abû Ishâq al-Huwaynî,
the one of whom Sh Muqbil said “…considered to be Mubtadi’ah“, said:

“This is one of the strongest evidence that we do not let Allâh be alone in judging, which is the most specific and unique in Tawhîd-ul-Ulûhiyyah.”

Question: There are those who say that Tawhîd-ul-Hâkimiyyah is the most specific and uniqe in Tawhîd-ul-Ulûhiyyah. Is that true?

Shaykh al-Fawzân: According to him, yes. But according to Ahl-us-Sunnah wal-Jamâ’ah, the most specific and unique is to only worship Allâh and to not associate partners with Allâh (‘azza wa jall). Hâkimiyyah is a type in Tawhîd-ul-Ulûhiyyah. It is not the most specific and unique. The most specific and unique is to only worship Allâh.

Ibn ‘Uthaymin: If the ignoramus does not have knowledge about a ruling, he then has to follow the scholar blindly. Allah commands that one asks the scholars and the purpose with the question is to take their answer. Of what benefit would it otherwise be to ask them if we’re not to obey them? The Messenger - sallâ Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam – said: 'If Allaah intends good for His slave then He hastens his punishment in this world, and if Allaah prescribes evil for His slave, then Allaah holds back his sins until He recompenses them for him on the Day of Judgment.' Ibn Taymiyyah: Qaramitah say that one neither can say that Allah exists or that he does not exist, knows or does not etc. [According to them] If one says that He exists, He is likened to that which exists. If one says that He does not exist, He is likened to that which does not exist. They instead compared Him with something that is more worse than both of them [I.e. these two opposites], namely with the impossible. (SHN, p. 8)

Ibn Taymiyyah: It has been confirmed that he gets the reading when the Imam reads, which the Salaf's and Khalaf's majority among the Sahabah and those who followed them in the good - and that is the famous Hadith from the prophet ﷺ in which he said: "The one who has an Imam gets the reading of the Imam." This Hadith has been reported Mursal and Musnad, but the most of the trustworthy Imams reported it Mursal from 'Abdullah bin Shidad from the prophet, and some reported it as Musnad. al-Bayhaqi: When Ibn-ul-Mubarak was asked about how Allah descends to the lowest heaven, he said in Farsi: "Kadkhadai karkhuwaysh kan". I.e. He descends as he wants. (al-Asma', p. 569)

Nafi': Ibn 'Umar was asked about reading behind the Imam. He said: 'If one of you prays behind an Imam then his reading is enough for you.' Nafi': Ibn 'Umar did not read behind the Imam. (al-Istidhkar 1/462)

Ibn Qayyim (rahimahullâh): "Many people sin because they rely on the mercy of Allaah. The one who does that is like a stubborn sinner." (ad-Da', p 31)

Ibn Taymiyyah: If it were not to be so, that he reaches something better through listening than reading, it would have been more fitting that he does the best of the two - to read. But when the Book (Qur'an), the Sunnah and the consensus prove that it is better to listen than to read, one knows that he who listens reaches something better than what he who reads reaches. This significance is in al-Fatihah and other than it. Ibn Taymiyyah: The fact that nothing can exist without attributes, the Salaf called those who denied the attributes as 'Mu'attilah', deniers. To deny the attributes actually means to deny the essence. (SHN, p. 8)

'Uthman bin Sa'id narrated to us that he heard 'Ubaydullah bin 'Amr from Ishaq bin Rashid from az-Zuhri from 'Ubaydullah bin Abi Rafi' (Mawla Bani Hashim) who narrated from 'Ali bin Abi Talib: When the Imam does not read loudly in the prayers, then read the mother of the Book (al-Fatihah) and another Surah in the first two Raka'at in Dhuhr and 'Asr, and al-Fatihah in the two last in Dhuhr and 'Asr and in the last in Maghrib and the two last in 'Isha´.
